~ The Power of Horses ~

People who are familiar with horses recognize their power to influence people in amazing ways. The focus of EAP/EAL is on setting up activities with horses that require the client or group to apply certain skills, such as:

Non-verbal communication * Assertiveness * Creative thinking * Problem-solving * Leadership * Taking responsibility * Teamwork * Self-confidence * Patience Positive attitude * Persistence

Horses are dynamic and powerful living beings, motivated by basic needs. Equine Assisted techniques teach by the examples horses have to offer, instead of teaching clients directly about themselves. It’s the realization of “Ah-ha!”
