ABOUT EQUINE PARTNERS OFFERING NEW AWARENESS, INC.

Founded in 2003, Equine Partners Offering New Awareness, Inc. is an Idaho-based 501c3 nonprofit organization. Therapy sessions and educational classes are offered at the Equine Partners Offering New Awareness arena, located in northwest Boise near the foothills.

 

Therapists Kathy Tidwell, LCSW, and Claire Kiener, LMSW, are Level One Clinical Specialists, certified by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA). Horse handler Mary Ann Reuter will soon complete her Level One certification as an Equine Specialist.

 

Referrals from government agencies, corporate development offices, and professional associations are welcome. Individuals, couples, families and groups can schedule sessions as well.

 

Call our office at 853-5095 for a schedule of classes on topics such as anger management and parent education, or support groups for trauma recovery and grief and loss process.  Custom workshops are also available.

 

FACILITY

Our arena is located on the grounds of Tidwell Social Work Services and Consulting in a quiet, country-like setting in Northwest Boise, near the Foothills. Six horses comprise the therapy horse herd.

 

AFFILIATION

Clinical and equine specialists are certified by EAGALA, the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association. The purpose of EAGALA is to promote, educate, and provide standards of practice, ethics, and safety in the emerging field of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
