Founded in 2003, by Kathy Tidwell, LCSW, Equine Partners is an Idaho based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It was established to fund equine assisted psychotherapy and learning programs.

In both EAP and EAL, certified licensed therapists and horse specialists use structured exercises to challenge individuals and groups to solve problems and create positive outcomes. Equine Partners holds to the values of excellence in the delivery of mental health and personal growth by adhering to high ethical standards and professionalism.

Organizations, individuals, couples, and families can schedule sessions with a team of facilitators and horses to work on personal growth. Equine assisted psychotherapy and learning does not involve riding and it is not a horsemanship program.
